Saw this by my crib last week. It had a grip of tickets on it. By Thursday it had 2 tow stickers. Wanted to try and save it but didn't want anyone thinking I was trying to steal it. I could've went and got my old man's pickup and moved it into my parking lot. Checked again this morning and its gone :frown:.

EDIT: Almost forgot the main reason I came in here. If Chicago weather stop hating and cut it out with the rain, I'm going to check out a S1000rr. Thinking of stunting the CBR. But before I do I need a replacement everyday ride. Always liked the beamer. Found one for a decent price. The bike is 4 years old with only 2700 miles. Straight garage queen.

Got a bit of a project for Chanel this weekend. Going to change her fairings back over to the factory Phoenix Blue/Yellow scheme. Also doing a power commander/K&N filter setup. I'll post pics when everything is finished.

Would a triumph bonneville be a good starter bike ? Would mainly use it for cruising around the city

I LOVE DUCATIS!

EXCEPT FOR HOW SLOW THEY ARE!

i knew i wasnt bugging..

i got a 600cc with PCIII

my boy has a Ducati 999

we dead be neck and neck on the highway... 140mph and he cant pass me... i dont get it.

i mean i also be busting my boys CBR 1000cc *** all day...

so maybe i have the faster bike and a better racer

They do seem a little slow. You just pay for the name and the design of the bike. A few of my boy's have some and they're out there neck and neck with R6s, 675s and CBR 600s.

I would never buy one unless it was used and someone was selling for a ridiculous price. Beautiful looking bike though. So damn gorgeous.

I don't know what it is about the newer R6... One of my roommates has an 09. Thing has ridiculous top end. If we're rolling at around 70 mph and he gets the jump on me I just can't reel him in on my CBR1000RR. It's absolutely sickening.

^ my boy has an 09 R6 with a full exhaust and power commander. He's hitting 180-185 all the time when we ride. Exhaust sounds so damn cold too

I'm installing new filters, and a PCV over the weekend. Already found the maps I need. Looking forward to opening her up, after the changes. With that and the stock fairings going back on, she'll feel like a different bike.

My progress so far...

Already put the K&N filters in. My service manual just came in so after I look that over its PCV time. Unfortunately I can't start reassembly until I get in some bolts and clips that I ordered from a local shop. The original owner used some Non-OEM bolts for the aftermarket fairings. I'm way too anal to piece it back together with those... smh. Glad I have a garage so I can take my time with this.

Made good progress today. Got the power commander wired up. Didn't really take too long, with the exception of a stubborn injector clip (of course it was the last one). Loaded up the map I needed and she started right up, no sputtering or hesitation at low RPMs.

HUGE fan of the yellow and blue. You should look into painting your rims blue or yellow in the winter.

Yo Ballerific which Arai lid are you rocking? I'm going to get measured at an Arai dealer later today.

You're actually going to an Arai shop? Where the hell is that?

I wear the Arai RX-Q, Diamond White. Great helmet. Well ventilated and comfortable but it was $500 :x
