I have a 650r now, first bike, had it for about four months now. It's not really lacking anything, it's got the low end torque for city riding and also has the power to pull on the highway. I rode in a group to bike week with a bunch of liter bikes and didn't get left.

Thanks for the feedback. For the price it's an amazing bike. I'm hoping Yamaha updates the FZ6R soon tho. It's a bit dated. Just curious, Why the jump to a ZX6R?

Paid for an Icon Airmada today, picking it up on Tuesday since they didn't have the color and size I wanted. Any of you guys got this helmet?

I got this helmet and I'm very pleased. Doesn't compare the more expensive helmets, but what you get for the price is a great helmet. Got the rubatone and got a free tinted face shield with it.

Do you have a longer, oval size head? I do and that's why this helmet worked over some of the AGV I tried.

^ I have the black Chantilly Airmada, also. I love it almost as much as my Shoei. But I've always been an Icon guy.

The power of the 1000 will always have you in awe. Controlling said power is a little different, there isn't much room for error. I've found on in my experience - getting those high RPMS and cornering in the 600's to be muuuuch more satisfying than in the 1000s. Now straight-line riding, nothing can really replicate the go of a 1000. I honestly don't need it though, the 636 is pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeenty powerful in it's own.

^Every Wednesday, Fridays at Greenbelt has a bike night. A whole bunch of clubs and/or just bikers come out and chill, network, eat, show off and what not. Parking lot be mad filled.
