600 is enough power. I ride a 1000 and I'm always talking **** to my boys on 600s but it's just trash talking. We all flying over 150 on certain roads.

Taking the learners class here in jersey later this month! Excited and saving up to get this

Pulled up behind a Ducati (couldn't make out what model) and R1 last night. Felt like this on my 300.

 Need to get that FZ6R or FZ-07 soon.

Any supermoto owners? [emoji]128064[/emoji]

I've been eyeing a Husqvarna TR650 Strada on CL for a while. Just can't pull the trigger as a primary bike, would love one as a second bike tho.

pftjordans pftjordans Good luck with your class. Keep us posted fam.

Absolutely.... i never complain about the power, i do understand howm you can outgrow a bike so to speak.. I almost feel like im there, but ill give it another 6-8 months to decide what i'll do...

2015 Ducati 899 Panigale

Just picked up this awesome bike last Friday, put about 200 miles on so far.

Congrats on the new bike, nothing like buying new. Fender eliminator now lol

I can't get with the 899 myself though. I hate the fact that Ducati in all their genius didn't include single sided swing arms on them.

I'll happily keep my 848 evo until I can retire her as a showpiece for the home lol
Next bike I may go for the 1299, or MV Agusta F4rr.

Walter..

I've been trying to clutch wheelie since I got my gixxer two years ago. :frown:

I get in second, keep the revs low (about 2500 rmps), pull in the clutch while taking the revs up to about 6000-7800 rpms, then pop the clutch while it's still high in the revs... The bike just jerks a bit.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Try it in 1st rolling at 20 mph.

How high should i take the revs up to before/while I pop the clutch
I don't really look. But would say 5-6k. Once u start to pop it up u will play with the throttle more. Just get used to popping the clutch.
I roll at 20-25mph
pull the clutch in
roll the throttle to 5-6k
then let go of the clutch while holding the throttle around 6k. This should get u off the ground.
Just practice baby wheelies till ur confident and also practice hitting the foot brake when ur up so u get used to bringing ur self down.

Thanks man!  The 899 is quite different from the 848, I'm still getting use to it, but so far I am very happy with the performance and handling.

MV's are awesome!

The day has finally arrived! Just got my '87 FXR.
