[color= rgb(255, 0, 0)]In this case, Marijuana. For the most part, society looks down on Marijuana andpeople who smoke it/sell it. My question is, do you think God would FORBID you to enter those pearly gates if you sold Marijuana (or anything that'snatural)? I mean, after all it's HIS (or her) plants you're selling...and it's not like it's harmful, but because it's against societieslaw, is it against God's law as well? I'm not religious nor do I believe in organized religion, but I do believe in a higher being, anyone think thatdistribution or personal consumption is a sin?[/color]

well, since getting drunk with by drinking wine(made of grapes) or beer (that barley hops @@#@) is a bad thing, said in the Bible...

then I'm pretty sure that smoking/selling weed (or anything for that matter) is also bad.

i mean, plants aren't really meant to be smoked... ya know? not exactly the most natural thing.

man manipulates nature to his liking/pleasure/benefit/detriment, so yea...

basically, we have all of His stuff, but it's a "use at your own risk" sort of thing. get me?

oh, and the law thing... Jesus said you don't have to follow the way of the people enacting the law, but you follow & respect the laws because theintentions are good (for the most part)

Everyone is sin which is why the idea of a "Sin" is ******ed any way. The same people who persecute homosexuals are the same ones who have brokenmany a rules in the bible but act as if being gay is a more heinous act than anything else. Jesus would have definitely burned it down.

marijuana is a natural plant, doesn't harm you like alcohol... will a bartender go to hell for selling alcohol (which is much more harmful)? my answerwould be no to both.

turn you away based on a rule made from man?

I'm not the most religious person but I'm sure not every man made law goes hand in hand with what God expects you to do
 
you're goin nowhere in life if you're concerned with gods morals more than your own. you know whats right and wrong, dont let the religious craziestell you different.
 
the bible and most religious text is admittedly written by man and has changed alot through the years but i am sure that no one is going to hell for selling orsmoking weed and if they are so is every single person who drinks or sells alcohol. i would say drinkers are going to hell before smokers because you have tomake beer and $$!! but weed you pick off the plant and smoke it just like you pick an apple and eat it and if people say its not natural to smoke something isay you still get high eating it so i dono

i like to just not think about it you live your life making the choices you can live with then you die whatever happens happens you cant control if your goingto hell or not because no one knows what a sin really is because all we have are books that have been changed over hundreds of years to control people. and itsnot possible to live by the rules everyone sins and whos to say what sin is serious and what one isnt
 
Heaven shouldn't be an exclusive club that only the super rightous will be a part of. And giving your life to Jesus before death isn't enough. If youare a good person and treat people with respect than youw ill get into heaven

two sayings to live by, I don't think it matters what you do as long as you follow those two. Everything else should fall into place.

Why would drinkers or smokers even go to hell? They're not disrespecting God or anything

Plus even JESUS drank wine, the Last Supper? You even drink wine druing a Catholic communion, so there is NOTHING wrong with alchohol.

Personal consumption isn't a sin IMO.

I don't believe in God, but there is a clear divide between man's laws and "God's." A while back, slavery was legal.
The funny thing is they used 'god' to justify the institution of slavery.

no. humans created the laws that deemed marijuana 'illegal'. the fact that many states are overturning these laws, and the fact that godknows why government made it illegal, i dunno... i say no. if you grew a natural plant, or distributed something someone else grew, if we're going on merefundamentals... my guess would be no. but heck, what do we know.

I don't believe in God, but there is a clear divide between man's laws and "God's." A while back, slavery was legal. Wouldsomeone who kept people as property, treated them inhumanely, but did so within the margins of the law go to heaven? I think not.
