How do I take out my xbox 360 game while its off?

Okay my Xbox 360 won't turn on and right before this happened the 3 red lights came on I called Xbox and they told me to send it in and to get the game outby sticking a paperclip in the little whole under the
tray so I did and I've tried constantly does anyone know of another way to open up the disk drive?

It wont affect the warranty in anyway if I return it with a broken drive?
