LMAO Love the Harolds though. But you know you gotta get the salt/pepper with the mild sauce though!
Bert's was on No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain, but I had it before the episode aired. It's in Morton Grove, but it's definitely head and shoulders about the pizza I've had growing up.

And please don't bring up Harold's. First thing I did when I came back during the summer was order a 6 piece with extra mild sauce. I miss Chicago food sooo much. Hell, I just miss Chicago.

Good look,I will make sure those two Pizza joints I hit up next time I go home.

You know what that is,just hype...just to make it seem like he is not staying in one lane but we all the deal.

That was like when I moved up here near Seattle, everyone was talking about Ezells Chicken is the s*&^ and Oprah has it flown into Chicago.I admit it isdecent chicken considering the are,but not Harolds level chicken.

No diss, but NY need to give props where props is due,y'all are not the best at anything food related.I mean, look at the pizza,it is nothing but notebookpaper and tomato sauce.

I saw Bobby Flay the other night trying to say NY is better than Chicago pizza and I could tell his heart wasn't there.

only tried giordanos pizza....
but i love it! prob. wont try anything else....
only bad thing....the long wait....i think its like 30-45 min or something....

heres pics of my first visit....

oh shoot!
wanting to drive 8 hours to get that pizza!!!

Look I don't argue that Chicago style is great pizza... but it's not even really pizza, if you think about it.. it's more like they make a caseroleout of pizza ingredients. Pizza to me is something you can pick up and eat... and while Chicago style is awesome, it shouldn't really even be called pizza.

There's one on 87th & Stony now, I had some today, but cheese only (good friday)

Italian Fiesta Pizza on a Friday night..don't mind the 3hr. Delivery wait..its the truth. Giordanos in Hyde Park if u wanna go the deep dish classy route..expect long lines ever since Obama went mainstream its been a super long wait for a table.

Italian Fiesta equals crack in every square bite and its' the president's favorite, too.

I respect the pride they have in their city, Because I'm the same way about the crib, But they be getting ahead of their self sometime.

Some of them say they're the best at something and never have left NYC...Like "@%#!%, Have you even tried anything else?"

Italian Fiesta on 81st and Halstad, lol,I was never too fond of their pizza, too much seasoning, even though that was like the only place that delivered back inthe 90's when I stay on 77th and Aberdeen.

Now Reggios that was on 81st and Langley, even though it was hood pizza it was still

.

Is Pizza King on 55th and State still open?I remember they stopped delivering to our block during the late 80's and 90's,my mom would have me andsister walk from 59th and Michigan to get that garbage pizza.

Hood Pizza,Italian Beef, and Gyros late summer nights during the 90's,is the reason I am fat todays, lol,
