Because they've been known to do that. They put a size up online but sometimes it's not even in their warehouse and more then likely sold outeverywhere in their stores too. Guess you can take the cnae to order these but don't be sad or upset when you get the email saying "Sorry CanceledOrder."

This happens every few weeks. They'll get a single random pair back in stock - a return or something - so it automatically goes back up on their websitewhen it checks into inventory. It takes a while to be marked as out of stock after the first buyer buys it, leaving loads of people putting in their shoppingcart and completing the order.
It could take more than three weeks to cancel. I did this with the Chicago XX3 back in January, and it was early March before my order status was updated to'canceled.'

I've heard of some people getting their pack from Finishline well after December 20, so it appears to be legit. I tried to order online on release day butI couldn't get through and when I tried to go to the mall @ 5AM, employees at the stores were $+*+$$!@+$@% people left & right. Most people eitherdidn't get their shoes or had to pay insane prices to get them. I've ried getting them from Finishline 4 times and my order got cancelled. I'll tryagain in case I get lucky, but it looks as though I'll have to deal with a reseller because I'm not getting robbed by eBay.

i can tell you know, no stores are going to send that out. yes there are still a few in the system.
orders get pulled and sent out by regular employees lol, so if you think one of them will send out a 11/12 pack... think again lol.

I ordered 2 packages - once on 12/31/08 and it actually came through although I didn't expect it. I got lucky. My other order last month was cancellednearly a month after I placed it, but I wasn't surprised. It happens all the time with finishline and all these other websites, especially with the morepopular jordans, etc. Its not just shoes, I've gotten alot of good deals on clothing (hoodies, jerseys, etc) when they get clearanced out, but half thetime those get cancelled as well.
Like someone else stated, some employees that pull these orders will not let a good deal pass them by. They will snatch them up and easily cancel your orderwithout you ever knowing.
