Tattoo Heads: Can you recommend me a topical analgesic?

Before any of you say man up and take the pain, I have 8 tats already and I'm in the middle of finishing my shin sleeve. However, I'd usally get acouple of hours work done then I can't take the pain anymore. So I want to try out using a topical analgesic so I can do maybe double the hours in onesession. That way I'd finish the sleeve in less sessions.

Anyone has tried using an analgesic prior to getting inked and how did it go? I've been reading on lidocaine but I want to hear from people who'veactually experienced it.

I personally think that's cheating.

If you're willing to have it on your body for the rest of your life, you should be able to bear the pain.

But thats just me.

it's for burns
