Dear NT,

Would khaki shorts, nice polo, and non dress shoes be acceptable? I have a job interview at 11 tomorrow morning. Feel free to give me any tips I should keep inmind.

shorts are never acceptable interview apparel.

it doesn't matter what job it is, if you're serious about getting the job, then dress like you want to be taken seriously.

ehh when i worked at target, i wore a button down,(tucked in) no tie, some slacks and shoes

i used to be a manager at target..jus wear some slacks and a dress shirt..no tie needed..dont really care about that..ur gonna get asked situationalquestions..would did u do when _____ happened?..how did u approach a group problem? all behavioral based questions? its really easy just think about youranswers and dont rant...and youll be fine. god i hated that place good luck kid

Polo shirt and Khaki pants should be sufficient. better to over dress than underdress.

But seriously khakis button up and a cardigan or sweater.

When I applied at Target, I did my first interview right after my application and I was wearing a t-shirt, khaki shorts, a fitted, and some 95s. I went rightafter school got out so I didn't think to change in case I had to go straight into an interview. I got the job though.

also be 15 minutes early. Be at the HR office (or wherever it is in the store) at 10:45 not 11 but 10:45. Which should be common knowledge. And

at saying shorts that is why I gave you this advice

Alright. How about khaki pants and a striped cream and black sweater? I need suggestions for shoes. I don't have any dress shoes
