Get ready to enter the Em Zone. Back from a three-year hiatus, Eminem is set to grace two XXL covers for the magazine's June issue on stands May 5, twoweeks before Em's fifth solo album, Relapse, hits stores May 19.
A special collector's edition, the issue showcases Eminem posing as Marvel Comics' notorious vigilante The Punisher. In addition to the cover storywritten by XXL Editor-in-Chief Datwon Thomas, the issue's entire feature well is dedicated to Marshall Mathers and documents his illustriouscareer. The magazine also includes an exclusive collaboration between XXL, Shady and Marvel Comics: a special edition Punisher comic book entitledEminem/Punisher: Kill You starring Eminem and created by Marvel Comics. How is Em a puppet for those covers? Not seeing the connection. I don't even see the connection with the Punisher. I mean a Punisher flick came out 5 or 6months ago. What's up with the Punisher connection?

Why do people keep using his first single as an indicator of his album? Em's been following the same blueprint for years and it's worked... Don'tknow why people expected it to be any different.
And it's stupid that people are looking at these covers and trying to correlate it with his albums. This has little to do with the record.

He has never put out a completely garbage album, so I don't expect Relapse to be garbage. Take tracks 9-14 off Encore and you have a solid album. Being asthey were left on the album he left us with a mediocre album IMO.

Many people will agree with me when I say he has 3 great albums under his belt. I personally believe TES is a classic. I know you disagree with both but letsbe honest, you got ALOT of hate running through your (you're?) veins.

Most of the "silly" songs are on SSLP because thats the Slim Shady persona. MMLP and TES are much more serious. Even if you don't like thecontent, the technical aspect of his writing is ALWAYS on point.

I agree with you 100 % sir....Encore was by far his worst project and I don't think anything will be as bad as that again....
A lot of dudes knocking Relapse untill it comes out and is a great Em project....I mean all the production is by Dre...how bad could it be...I mean damn theywas locked in the lab for how long making this %*!!....I gotta good feelin about this year period for music....a lot of albums droppin that I beenanticipating

Dude has become a complete joke, I would be surprised if he had ANY good songs on his next album. Shame what's happened.. it's not even about the musicanymore, you got these lames selling off just their names and being pop icons with legions of teeny boppers. Covers like this just mock what was once a potentform of self expression, and a medium for serious social and poltical discussion. Dudes actually take him serious as a "top __" rapper...
