I know its apart of life and I don't mind criticism that helps you

But how do you all deal with criticism when you've put everything into something only to be ripped to shreds by some

Loved by others

Sidenote: my personal favorite is when they go not be a jerk and then proceed to be a jerk, !## is that

Its crazy but i learnded this in a funny way...i still disagree.

My boss was doin my eval, and to complete it she ask, on a scale of 1-3 (3 being good) how well do you take criticism? me being honest said 2 and thats thescore i get.

I get my eval and she rated me as a 2 on "knowing and doing my job" I was Pissed, i deserved a 3 in my eyes.

I still believe i deserved a 3 but, no i cant take critcism well lol.

first i say hell no, thats not true. then i think "is it?". Then if its right i say fine if not then i'm bringing the heat. Sometimes it hurts tothink ur wrong tho.

pretty much...My stubbornness gets in the way alot of me taking positive criticism from people way too much....after I while once I calm down andthink about it

i have a hard time criticism but im able to do a good job of taking it when i feel like the person giving it to me is being genuine about it and really tryingto help me but if the person's just trying to be an +%%**!@ about it then i really get pissed off

If it ain't constructive, then it's not worth my time. I take constructive criticism better than anyone, but as soon as I encounterunfounded, or unwarranted criticism, then I got a bone to pick.

Well being in the military, you're kind of forced to learn to take criticism and learn from it.

As a grown man I encourage honesty and letting me know when I could have done something a little better. If I don't respect your opinion I may ignore youthen roast you when you finish but overall I think I would be a 3 using Jthagreat's scale.

Agreed. I think I'm man enough to admit to my mistakes, but please show me my flaws first.

I can take constructive criticism from a peer but I can't from a superior it really bothers me.Lectures really irk the issh out of me though. I hate whena co worker in the same position as me tries to lecture me on something just because he has been there for longer.
