I'm a 28 year old hetero male and I work, went to school with, and networked with men and women that have been homosexual. I have a male co-worker who issuper-cool, that is having a going away party and some of my other co-workers are like "You going to that?"
smh.gif

My thing is this, I was stupid and young once and didn't even want that word affiliated with me but the fact of the matter is, there will always be someonethat has a different lifestyle as you around. While I don't agree with their lifestyle choice, that doesn't make them less of a friend.

Do any other hetero male NT'ers have gay friends?
Why is it more acceptable for women to have gay friends but not men?

Mature Discussion please.

Not as a close friend. But my ex used to have a couple of homosexual friends, so we'd hang with them, they were cool people.

more like aquaintances .... coworkers and the like ...actual close male friends that are gay...not currently...but i have no qualms with that

Naugh. I mean there were some in HS, but we weren't on any friendship basis. Same at work, one of the people at customer service is gay. Is not like Im abe on some gay bash type stuff. I can be cool and cordial around them and speak. I don't agree w/ their lifestyle but is none of my business so they can dowhatever they want.

not that i know of

had a gay coworker once tho...wasn't really a big deal. drank beers and watched soccer like any other straight guy did.

Yeah my best friend is gay actually. We were friends before he came out and then we just continued being friends. He does try to date chicks though so I guesshe is bi.

Yeah, my roommate freshman year was gay. I didn't know until like last year but he's cool and we don't have any problems.

I dont have any gay friends, well not to my knowledge anyway. If I did find out one of my male friends was gay, I wouldnt stop being his friend. I dont agreewith that lifestyle choice but if its their preference then thats on them.

lmao, you live in Stl op... Like a quarter of the people or maybe even more are gay now-a-days...

just let it rock, as long as he aint tryna hit on you. be easy...

But yeah, I know some pretty chill gay dudes. They cool I guess, just like regular dudes I know exceptthey don't talk about chicks...

i don't have gay friends. i don't have anything against gays. it is their personal choice and they have to live with their decisions.
i feel that there is really no reason for me to hang out with gay guys cause we don't have anything in common, not to mention the fact that i'mstraight. also, where i'm from, u are automatically perceived as gay if u hang with gays. when u think about it, why would anyone think any differently.

it is assumed that u accept that lifestyle if that's who u surround urself with. if i hang out with a bunch of drug dealers, is it not true that it will beperceived that i accept that lifestyle also??

as far as the women go, there's always a double standard.

Is 100% of everything you do with your male friends about girls? You can have other things in common with people then your interests in chicks. How would youknow don't have anything in common with gays? As if all gays all like the exact same things?

Not that i know of but I used to have this cousin, whose a few years older, i was real close to. Used to always hang w. dude at the park growing up during the summer, same goes for my other cousins...time went by and hadn't seen dude in years until ifinally caught up w. him at a festival. Dude came out the closet sometime before and it was a shocker...you can catch him riding a float at a gay paradenow

no not at all i find out your gay you out my inner crew i dont want to see you hang out none of that .

i feel this way because i dislike the act of being gay so i can care less how cool the person is when im looking at some fine chick he lookin at the dude shewalkin with.............
