Wow, just watched the video....

I didn't want to listen to anything from the album or by Royce until I had Street Hop in my hands, but I had to check it after seeing this thread...


Yo...if he starts trying to rap more like an Illmatic/It Was Written type Nas then it's OVER....Up until this point in his career I have compared Royce toa "I am..." Nas

^ Any Royce fans agree/disagree? (Now I'm not saying this song is on the level of any song, but in terms of the song structure as a whole it has a It WasWritten... feel)

yooooooo, that video is crazy

Royce has been nice for a minute

I never really liked the production on his early albums (except for the obvious Premo beats and a few other gems)

but overall I think the production is better now
