Death/Religion Question

Sorry about all the new threads lately, I just have a lot on my mind.

Question-

I recently watched Seven Pounds and Will Smith killed himself, so someone else could live. Does that mean Will Smith went to hell because I was taught that ifyou kill yourself, you go to hell. But he's doing a good deed so why would he go to hell? What do you think?

at people getting mad over spoilers. By the way, Ghandi went to hell too, since he wasn't a Christian and all.
 
Hmmm in my opinion, as for his act it was heroic. I don't know to be honest. Suicide is usually the act of someone taking their life because of theirproblems and hardships. I can't say that Will did that. I can't be the judge of that but I would like to think He would not go.
