what ya'll think about that? i was on Smokingsection checkin out $%+* and ah few of the comments compared him to AZ one saying

I'm going to say this right now: Curren$y is AZ # 2. And I mean that as a BIG compliment. I've listened to his mixtapes and his lyrics are like vivid paintings that draw you in, just like how AZ's lyrics do. Though their are differences between them, they both have this magnetic power which allows them to pull the listener into their world. Some rappers need to be passionate or intense to pull the reader in, but AZ and Curren$y have a nonchalant style that allows them to effortlessly grab you.

Let him drop an album, he will be the ultimate problem. No Joke.


the more i thought about it ehhhh kinda but at the end of the day thats a compliment being compared lyrically to AZ i do hope he has more success tho

But regardless...AZ IS THE ONLY AZ!!

currensy reminds me of mase if anybody (voice wise)


i dunno lyrically i wouldnt say az

az uses a lot of multis in his songs which spitta doesnt but its cool comparison i guess, still copping thisaintnomixtape!

I always considered him a down south version of Loso. Especially sort of that laid back flow they both have. AZ never came to mind for one second. Then againi'm not really a AZ follower though.
