i co-sign on this one. kb's boxes for adidas were pretty cool aside from the kb8 and the kb8 II. nike should have done him up real big.

Yeah sure, that's exactly how Nike thought of it. "Hey let's give Lebron the moreinteresting box, but so we don't piss off Kobe give him the more interesting shoes."
Guys whether y'all like it or not Nike sees Lebron as the present AND future of Nike, he'll bearound longer and make more money for Nike from this point on out. Kobe had his chance, and Nike was just about to go all in for him until Katelyn Faber cameup to his room. Sure his image has rebounded from that incident, but don' think for one second that it didn't affect him as far as Nike's posterboy.

It doesn't even need to be some crazy design or anything, just take the standard Nike box, make it black, and replace the swoosh on the top with a shozoko.

LBJ, as for today, has 6 (I-VI) + 4 (3xSoldiers, 20-5-5) + 2 (Low ST, Ambassador) = 12. Not to mention 4 low-tops. Even if you decide to skip the last twothat's 10 high end basketball sneakers.
Nike has two best NBA players under their wing... of course the marketing is different for both of them, but Bron is the future.

But one Lebron gets OD treatment like "The Lebrons" TV campaign and overindulgence shoes and shoe boxes...I mean have you seen the LBJ V box?

kobe has the only shoes in the philippines wherein all the gr shoes are spoken for a week before the release, brons are catching flies in the outlets, i thinkthe like deserves a simple yet different box imho

Kobe got an illy box to go with his Black Mamba "Friendlies" Hyperdunks -- with the chinese calligraphy and mamba illustration -- as well as"mamba" paper that the shoes were wrapped in.
That box and paper are nicer than LBJ's lasered/alternate-opening boxes -- but I gotta admit that LeBron's joints and their boxes do provide anambience of luxury and prestige...
