two more pair of each from NTers. It was great having what seemed like a lifetime supply of true retro IVs, but with a family and a new carreer I had
no time to wear them. Instead of letting $3,000 worth of shoes crumble into piles of nothing, I sold them along with my other Jordans to other shoeheads
to enjoy and turned a heafty profit.

Don't, I bought a pair of the white cements on this forum after searching for years. The seller stated they were wearable. They were brand new no cloudy air pockets. Wore them to the mall and they started to fall apart. I was so upset, never again will I buy a shoe that's 10 years old no matter what the condition is. I was able to resell them for $250. I lost $200 after spending $450 for them. I originally bought them in 99 both the black and white ones and after a year sold them to get headers for my accord (stupid move). I hope Jordan brand will retro these, I know thousands of sneakerheads will be happy to have these. I have a feeling it's coming.

I don't have the white cements. But hopefully I'll have em next yr if they release. I've just got the pure moneys that are beat now and Vnds bredsthat I've worn once and I'm scared to wear em cus they'll chipp and crack, it's only inevitable.....

Here's the pair I was talking about, everytime I look at these pics I wish i wish I would have never wore them. Actually I wish I would have never boughtthem.

And then after wearing them one time for an hour.

I felt so sick to my stomach after watching my grails and $200 go into the trash can. looks can be deceiving, I always thought clear air pockets andfirm soles indicated wearable condition. I guess not. And by the way, just in case youre wondering, I'm 6'1 weighing 215.

After this incident I am not even going to attempt to wear my black pair. Here are some comparison pics I took with the CD IV. I took these pics a few monthsback. You can feel the thickness in the OG compared to the retro. The OG feels heavier, thicker, and comfortable in the toe box.

Sorry to see those white cements cracked, 10 year old DS shoe = crack. those CDP's look crappy.

those midsoles look like they were painted over with some fresh white paint......

i got my DS pair of wht cements at copelands. it was the last pair, sz 9.5. i'm a sz 10 so i was gonna pass. left the store walked down the mall about halfway, turn around and bought em anyway. that was 10years ago and i still have em DS and fresh in my closet. took em out just last week to see if they were stillfresh and of course they were. clear bubbles, no yellowing, no cracking or peeling!!!! been thinkin bout sellin em due to the economy but don't thinki'll get the "true value" at this time.

thoughts? should i sell em???

i also saw that they reglued the midsole to the bubbles. i think the seller knew the midsoles were falling apart and decided to glue them and put new paint. if its not too late you could report this to paypal and get your money back.

you FREAKED the hell out of me and busted out all my pairs. i'm wearing a pair of cements as i'm typing(its always good to stretch the rubber andmidsoles around i heard this prevent the mids from cracking and getting too stiff).

as long as the shoes are not messed with fresh air bubbles and good firm midsoles and you are safe to wear. just don't plan on walking around a shoppingmall or across the city or you'll mess up those ten year old shoes.

don't deny yourself the pleasure of wearing your blk/red iv's.......

eciaccord your blkred look totally wearable and really clean.

anyone know when the blkred iv's came out. are they older or newer than the cements or did both retros come out the same year.

i remember seeing hella people un college were the cement iv's and all i was thinking was been there done that lol......
