Most epic sequence in video game history (SPOILER ALERT)

At this point it wasn't about saving the world, it was about burying the hatchet. What better way to do it than take the player down memory lane to the OGand have him fight through different eras via music and character "transformation". This game wasn't a game, it was an interactive movie. Handsdown, one of the best games of all time.
 
I still haven't played MGS4

I basically played that last sequence with my jaw hanging open.

It felt so damn GOOD to finally defeat Ocelot.

Best game ever? It is up there, but so is MGS 4. I mean, it's all personal opinion.

I will say though, the Aeris scene had me outright livid when I first saw it...

Anyways, I'd take certain scenes from FF7 or Kingdom Hearts II over the video posted. RPG's cut scenes/cinematic scenes are written like movies, othergaming genres not so much.

metal gear is my all time favorite series i have all the games even the substance version and limited packs just cause..

I'd take it that you've never played MGS if you say that the cut scenes aren't written like movies.
 
why did i buy mgs4 at launch and have only played it once... i really need to get to it
 
I remember MGS3 with the ending they had with Ocelot talking to someone on the phone on the phone which spawned the Metal Gear project. I just thought that wasthe best prequel game ever.
 
lol.. i'm stuck on disc 2 in ff7.. my discs won't read after i took them to gamecrazy twice!! this summer i'm going to buy 7 and 8 and beat them..

but that metal gear scene was dope.. the part at the cemetery with snake at the end was crazy.. the cut scenes/fmv's(right?) were just crazy.. the boatscene, raiden going ape #@#... i sold the game but will probably purchase it again and play it once a year to remind what a complete game is..

did zelda:wow:carina of time have any memorable scenes? it's been so long since n64..

I've played all 4. I didn't dismiss MGS. Did you see the game listed champ? I'm basicallyreferring to fighting games and FPS.

Reading comprehension my friend. If it isn't explicit, don't assume.
