What do you guys think about this? NIKE AIR

Alright so I'v been thinking Jordan Brand will most likely retro most Jordans in the coming years and besides the quality or possible slight changes ormaybe even major changes (True Blue rumored to have patent leather) the shoes will be like the original. They for the most part will be like the originalexcept for the Nike Air. I know that Nike Air is just a word or whatever so don't act like I am thinking it's absolutely needed on the shoes. I like itbecause it was how the originals were made and I like how it looks. Anyway what I'm thinking is now is the time to get the Jordans with Nike Air still onthe back because it most likely won't happen again. What are your thoughts? Please spare me the "Who cares it's just words on the back"replies, I explained above why I like it.
 
what i don't get is .. "why is now the time" as opposed to last year or next year.. sure we would love it... Also with today's youth beingmore spoiled, or having jobs at younger ages, they buy these shoes never even knowing Nike air was on them, nor do they care because it wasn't history forthem. I am not trying to judge your post , i just mean there is no point in holding our breaths to wait for it.. We would love it, but there is just a way they(Jordan Brand) do it now, and the way they do it is with the jumpman... separate entity from Nike now( or sub-division).. also there are plenty of these postsall the time with people asking for Nike air...

No you misunderstood. What I am saying is now is the time for us to buy ogs or early retros because I don't think Jordan Brand will do it again. Thats whatI'm saying.

To be honest with you bro, JB never had intentions on making the NIKE AIR so covident. The consumers demand for the Nike Air has drawn people who haventeven lived thru the NIKE AIR era to want it! Im in my MID 20's, ive seen jordan play since 1993.

Now you have kids who are 17-18, who were KIDS, literally KIDS when JB stopped the NIKE AIR logo. JB doesnt need to slap that on shoes to sell. Ask an averageJordan consumer about the NIKE AIR, i bet 9 out of 10 would be clueless on what it meant to the sneaker.

So dont count on it returning...its dead and gone.

it's like I'm speaking a different language. my whole post was about how I think we need to buy OGs and early retros now because I don't think JBwill bring back the Nike Air. I hear what you are saying man, but your misunderstanding the thread.

and for the record man I'm 23 and grew up watching MJ and playing ball as a kid with my 12's, so I feel you on the kids who just want it becauseeveryone else does, but thats not what I'm all about.

Its a logo on the back of a shoe that people we rarely see whats the issue with Jumpman Air? The White Cement 3s had them and no one complained. The BlackCement 3s had them and no one complained when they had them in hand. Its a shoe if you wear for style/performance/comfort unless you just wanna show off logos?

as I and the other guy said above, we grew up during the time MJ and these shoes came out, I like the way the shoes were originally designed andmeant to be. I like the Nike Air as many others do better than the jumpman. If you don't care good for you, but I want what I remember from back in theday, and I like how it looks.

Why because it will be expensive? I have a few White Cement IV, Infrared VI, 94 retro IIIs, and just won some Black Cements off Ebay. I have a few left to get,but what I think I am going to do is put my other purchases on hold until I have all those that I need.

it's all good guerrilla, I wasn't trying to show off the III's thats why I took them off I wanted the thread to be about the content.

then you are right i did mis understand.. and i agree.. the recession and market has been down.. and i have rescently bought some white ren Xii ( true no nikeair, but less than 150 vnds.. so i agree now..
