Yeah they were a good hooping shoe but the ankle support threw me off. I guess that's why Ray and Q rich have ankle braces on....

I remember the day before these came out.
The All Star weekend, the commercials, and me getting hyped
Then come on release day, they sell out of my size
So I went a half size up then later my pops bought me the quick strikes for my birthday

Everywhere is different. I got mine the first day they came out and got roasted for sportin'em. I went to my girl house, and the first thingshe said was "You wasted your money." These were not excepted well in the Bay Area. I stopped wearing them after about a week. I actually gave mywhite/varsity red ones away. I've always felt that the XX's ankle straps have absolutely no purpose on the shoe. It's just an extra top layer of material that is more of anagging hinderance than it is anything else. I don't blame Mo Evans one bit for cutting his straps off to play ball in.

Hands down, these are one of my favorite PE's of all time. Ray Allen XX All-Star PE's from 2005.

This thread is just a reminder of how horrible the 3/20 pack really was...smh ANY original colorway of the XX would've made it a classic...and they decidedto give us suede over patent leather.
