Can you tell if someone hung up when they put you on hold?

I just called bestbuy to check my application status, and she said "let me check your records"..she started the music and its been 17 minutes alreadyat the time of this post.

. When she hangs up, will the music stop? I don't wanna wait like an idiotwhen they've already hung up..although I'd gladly wait hours if it means employment

That has happened to me before.

I called back furious asking why they hung up on me.

"I'm sorry sir, someone picked the phone up and hung it up while I went to go check for your records".

Just call back what are they not going to hire you cause youcall back, don't be scared

you played yourself waiting that long...go up there...they won't ignore you then and if they tell you to call ask them who you need to talk to so you canask for that person...it was probably some lazy part time hs kid that put you on hold and went about they business...

Call back like,

"Uh, yeah.. If you're the same person I just got put on hold for 26 minutes and then hung up. May I speak with someone else that could look up myrecords for me?" ...In the most rudest way possible.

Ok i just called back...they said I didn't pass the "test"

The "test" is the 25-page multiple choice test that says "Agree, disagree" etc...how the fuyck do you fail that?

. I answered the ones that would most likely make me seem like a goodperson. However, I think they want a little disagrees on some of them..because they may be sensitive if everyones answers are all perfect

They are looking for almost perfect. They need an either strongly agree or strongly disagree depending on the question. You can ask to retake the test but Ibelieve you have to wait a long while to do so.
