1994 Jordan V in dragonball z

AGREED, but as a citizen of Seoul, and having traveledto Tokyo couple of times, what I feel is that Jordan is not as huge as it used to be.
What made shoe game or Js popular in east Asia was definitely the manga Slam Dunk. This manga basically INVENTED shoe game in Korea and Japan.
See, when certain young Koreans see Jordan 5s and Jordan 1s, they automatically notice
like 'oh, isn'tthat the shoe in Slam Dunk?'
Js became popular in Korea from 92 when 7s dropped, but there never was a term 'collector' back in thosedays.

However, after Slam Dunk became popular, it changed howpeople think about Js and shoe.

In January of 2006, I went to Tokyo to have a job interviewat Nike Tokyo Design Studio. (I couldn't make it though, unfortunately)

And this designer guy in Nike Tokyo, he took me to Uenostreet for me to look around. (Ueno is like the capital of Japanese shoe collectors)

Actually, I was expecting tons of OGs and exclusive Js, butnot so much.

Rather, they had tons of Dunks, Forces, and some Air Maxrunning shoes.

In case of Seoul, Js used to be SO popular. Well, peoplestill line up in front of major Nike stores to get major releases like 11/12 package, but it seems like the popularity kinda shifted to SBlines.

Now a days, market reacts like crazy when some exclusive SBBlazers and Dunks release, but in case of Js, not much.

In some of major websites selling Js, I still can find a lotof CDPs available in various sizes.

If you want to know these websites, you are more thanwelcome to PM me, but you better have some Korean friend or at least someone who can read Korean…

Because of the currency rate, I guess it would be muchcheaper than getting Js in the States, but I am not sure if these websites can deliver to overseas.

lol, very nice find. & it's no suprise either, some of the best sellers for Air Jordans are located in Japan, just think of Hitting Groove or Skit, plus many others on ebay, & of course Napzise.com.

LOL I never noticed this. I wonder how many other Jordan references their are in the Dragonball series or other animes for that matter.

OP that is a nice find. I have seen Jordan's in one other anime series. Episode 10 of Bleach at the 6:40 mark there is a closeup of a guy wearing playoffXII's
