Usually, 3k miles, but the last time it totally slipped my mind, and didn't get an oil change until after 7k miles.

come on...
im a tech at a honda dealership in toronto, canada. pre-2001 hondas we go with 6,000 kilometers or 4 months, 2001 and newer than 2001 8,000 km or 5 months.
generally there should be different outlines for different cars with different motors. but everyone seems to think that there is one definitive outline. i domine every 4K, im just paranoid like that. full synthetic and the honda filter. plus i race/track a lot so...

im gonna start every three thousand now...just had to get a new timing chain redone...waiting 8000 miles and using those cheap one-stop oil places that giveyou paper filters FTL...from now on Nissan is doing that mess.....SMH...

On the contrary haha. They use different oil, SLICK. I drive one and my changes are every 20K or 12K miles.

if youre changing it less than 5k miles its pretty pointless.

When I had my 2 Honda's, I did it every 3k. With the Evo and 335i, every 5k because it's synthetic oil.
