Ricky Rubio for Dummies...(Scouting Report)

he is never coming to the us
If you watched the last ten seconds of the video it was clear he's headed to the US. He said something like "I really dont want to ever look back and say "what if?" I dont want to live with that type of regret. Worst case scenario I just end up going there and coming back."

Damn I forgot jennings was hating.

actions speak louder than words

Honestly, I can't wait to see this kid play. Bust or not, he needs to get on the next plane and join the TWolves (who are in a phase not unlike the Clippers.) They could be an exciting team to watch.

The only problem I see him having in the league is :
Guarding other pg's. I think he will get a lot of reach in fouls
Shooting the ball. I think everyone guarding him will go under pick and roll's like rondo and force him to shoot.

His shot improved a bit when I saw a few euroleage games, well at least his release did. I don't think he'll be as good as I hoped he would, but he'll be Jose Calderon with better skills IMO.  Which isn't bad.

I heard a lot of Nash but I would hope for more Jkidd when he comes to the Wolves.

Thats an awful comparison.

Jose Calderon is a dead eye shooter, one of the best in the league, he also never makes turnovers, he doesn't take a lot of risks with the ball and he is a horrendous defender.

That is literally the opposite of everything Rubio is and profiles to be.

Comparing him to a European point guard just because he is a European point guard.
