The Air Jordan XXIV was designed to be the ultimate customizable performance shoe. Carrying the DNA from previous models, the XXIV expands the possibilitieseven further. It's shoe-within-a-shoe construction boasts an internal lasted "sock" with interchangeable max air and zoom air pods for the heelAND forefoot, to bring guards closer to the court with responsive cushioning, while giving forwards and centers a more cushioned ride and increased volumeunder foot. Simply pull out the sock and insert the cushioning that works best for your game. An advanced resin transfer molded chassis provides superiorlateral support while the shoe maintains a "slip-on" feel with it's zip-up anotomical compression wrap. But how does it tighten? I'm glad youasked! The XXIV's chassis is hard-wired to modules on the instep that work much like miniature seat belts across the foot. They provide a semi-relaxedretention under normal conditions (easily opening when pulling the shoe on), but lock up under duress to keep the foot locked securely over the footbed. Notightening needed. The shoe will automatically adjust to the athletes foot as conditions require! Check out all the construction and technical details below.

These AGAIN?

People, for the 74th time, these are a fan rendering and are not coming out.

They are pretty hot, but are these a future release or a concept pair they had in the works for this year?

i appreciate the amount of technology thrown into that shoe. for the price tag that kicks are reaching now days, its nice to see when a model actually spendstime and tech to make the product more worth it

If some problems with the models and the products
but this is very real.

I hope this is true and that we can go back to numbered J's and forget the 2k9s ever happened.

Inspiration

The Air Jordan XXIV had several sources of inspiration stemming from what made Michael Jordan the most exciting and special basketball player of all time.

Timeless Artist Inspiration

Michael's artistry and creative intuition on the court set him apart and made him unforgettable. His game was multi-dimensional and ahead of it's time, much like the creations of Leonardo DaVinci. Leonardo was the first man to study human flight, or "volo strumentale", and many of his works involvedangels: personifications of human flight. The outsole of the XXIV was inspired by the angel's wings, and would be the last thing you see as Mike flies overyou for the dunk!

Another great Renaissance leader, Filippo Brunelleschi engineered the dome that still stands in Flourence, Italy today. He was a man of great determination andvision. The cutaway image of his dome directly inspired the breathable heel structure of the XXIV.

Michael Jordan was the very definition of a Renaissance Man, who in fact led a new renaissance (which means "rebirth") in the NBA and footwear alike. After MJ, footwear would never be sold, designed or marketed the same again!
