They aren't. Seller is well trusted. At least imo because I've bought form him in the past. Just to much time has passed and has madethese really yellow.

It depends on where you're at, what kind of reaction you would get. They yellowed only in specific places. At first glance they look like their supposed tobe that way. If you're in a big city people would just think that they're fakes, or customs. A lot of people may even ask where you got your kicksfrom.

i've tried on my beater columbia's to reverse the yellowing in the pl, but no luck. once it goes yellow, it won't change. i would want those clearblue soles on them and do a sole swap on some retro columbia's.

I do expect them to yellow, but I have never seen a pair this bad and like you said the rest of the upper is still white.

And, no, they aren't fake.

be careful when buying from Japan... I've heard that the humidity over there is ridiculous... a lot of the kicks from there are effected by it and haveaged 2x faster than normal.

Please explain how these are fake, sir.

Would you be willing to bet $20 on it?

Not ALL pairs are going to yellow like that. It all depends on how they were stored and taken care of.
Take your pair and store them in a 75 degree damp house for 13 years and lets see how they come out.....

Warm temps + humidity = diaster for shoes. People in tropical places have a hard time with shoes. Word to this guy:

(Since MY pair doesnt look like this, are these fake also?)
