Yea I don't like them and their I'm better than you attitude either. But I hate how they gave me a hard time for things I liked like five yearsback such as skating, wearing clothes that fit, etc etc, and now they're doing the exact same thing they picked on me for.
And they make the prices of some things skyrocket out of control.

the whole hypebeast definition has many variations.
Some "hypebeasts" don't even wear "hypebeast" clothing..
basically the whole definition is effed up.

I think the basic definition in this case is "A person who follows a trend to be cool or in style. A person who wears what is hyped up. "
In my mind it's the kind of ppl who start skating or pretend to because it's popular and then move on to having some ridiculous fixed gear bike. Ingeneral, they move from trend to trend and scene to scene as the climate changes.
Hipsters and hypebeasts are kind of similar but hipsters tend to look more trashy since they're trying to be cool by not being cool or something dumb likethat.
I think it's hilarious and sad how they're in denial of what they are when all signs prove otherwise. Like Dave Chappelle said (paraphrased) "justbecause I'm dressed like this doesn't mean I am like this"
Regardless, they both help pay the bills at a few of my friends shops and I keep a safe distance.
