It's good to knowpeople that have already taken the classes you need so they hold onto the book for you

I can't 100% relate, since when I was in college, I was broke as hell too ^^ (probably due to buying sneakers).

Although sneakers were available at the shops nearby, I bought most of my kicks online anyway.

I know it can get tough, but it can be done if you make collecting/buying/wearing sneakers your priority.

When I was in college I had 3 jobs. First, I was a supervisor at the Student Rec Center. Second, I was a Courtesy officer at my apartment complex (basically, handed out flyers twice a week and answered noise complaints after hours) and received FREE rent. Third, I worked at Foot Locker once or twice a week for thediscount. I would suggest that you work at one of the major shoe stores. That way you can make a few bucks and then cop shoes and clothes at a discount. Thestore I worked at only got GR but I always saved 30% of street date shoes and 50% on anything else on the Employee appreciation weekends. I miss them days. Onetime I got a Jordan sweatsuit on clearance and after the discount it was about $16.

It's harder when you're in college. I buy all my shoes online anyways. I don't get any financial aid so I can't just have extra money comingin. I don't have a job either because of basketball.

I guess I'm lucky. I go to Towson not too far from Baltimore, but Towson Mall is literally within walking distance. I haven't missed a single shoerelease yet. I was even able to get my Yeezy's just by driving to Mt. Clare Junction in B-More.

somebody direct this kid to his english class

Went to college, seldom had cool shoes (wasn't accustomed to the idea
because in highschool and community college, i had serious heat).

But i had to suck it up... my focus was to consummate my collegiate studies
so that i could be successful and buy all the shoes i want now.

I know its important to look fly during your strolls from dorm room to sociology,
but if you can't afford it, you can't afford it (sometimes, you may have some
excess funds from finaid or find a part time gig... but it depends on your course
load and spending habits - i know i spent a lot on food and booze, shiit was
good while it lasted, those memories you can't put in a form of material things,
i.e. shoes and gear).

But to answer your concern about living in an area where it's difficult to access
hot releases... check this out.

I live in seattle. Shoe spots (malls, mom-&-pops) are a bevy in selection, but...

i still prefer to order ALL my kicks online.

You should have zero difficulty buying shoes, at retail or even less, via the internet.

It just truly boils down to your monetary status and if you could sacrifice a few
bucks to up your fly game.

All i had were chucks, a pair of timbs, shell tops and a few air maxes for the gym.

Modest times man... that's college for you.

.

yea it sucks, but as far as finding and getting... im from the A and go to here too so i can get everything, except stuff from the HOH.

last year in college.. just build connects with locals and get lucky with online releases.. theres no upcoming releases to be worried about except for theSpace jams... but thats during either winter break or thanksgivin break

This is the perfect forum for me. I am currently a 19 year old sophomore playin basketball at Fontbonne University in St. Louis so I don't even have timeduring the week to have a job to earn any cash for J's that are coming out. I'm currently looking for a job that I'd be able to work at on theweekends to be able to at least earn some type of money. I need to get some before the holidays arrive for the XII's and space jam XI's! Unlike some Iam at least in a city where they do get the qucikstrikes and limited sneakers especially at a top 50 rated sneaker store called R-Sole. Back home in Columbia,Missouri, which is like 1 hour and 45 mins from STL, surprisingly we get the retor that come out as well in our Finishline. We didn't used to tho 3 yearsago when we didn't have the Finishline.... other than that online is where it's at because since I shop online quite often for shoes when I have cashIam willing to pay some extra for something I really want.

im lucky to say school has not afected me at all
and i have no bills and i have a great paying job
but i still budget cause sometimes theres more important things

to op bro just learn to budget around what you got might not be multiple but one pair
is better than no pair. imo

lol people always think once they graduate college its on, but after college you have to start paying for college then life starts, bills, possibly wife, possibly kids. I actually slowed way down after college and high school
