Honestly, I was just lookin for something that says "ROC" in it so i wouldnt know where its originally from lol.
Im from the DMV too.. (PG county) and u kno how we are with sports...but i am NOT a ******** fan first and foremost. But OV is really holdin it down for usman. He's the only TO watch hockey right now. He's ridiculous man on his own level.

I love the kid, amazing hockey player, but lets let him get a few years under his belt before we start making wild accusations.
That said, I always wanted a JB skate...
Not alot of black ppl watch hockey(Its mainly foreign geared).
How so? NHL marketing is 95% geared towards Americans. You don't need to market the sport in Canada, Sweden, Russia, ect. It sells itself.
I only heard about like 2 of the above. He's pretty much the only reason hockey is exciting now...
He was drafted in 04... so hes pro for 5 years... his greatness is established.

Sum of u guys are saying jb with a hockey player like its outrageous or something. Motorcycle racing is almost just as bad as hockey in the form of race if uguys are going that way. And i wud betcha he does know what jb is.

Honestly, it isn't THAT far fetched. Probably won't be an official member, but maybe rock a modified version of some models.
*I remember back when Sergei Fedorov was w/ the Red Wings, he played in some modified Zoom Flight 95's... I wish I had a pic of them. They were prettysick, for being skates.

idk bout hockey but i hear dudes name in top 10 plays every other night so w/e....but if you was a professional hockey player would you wear footwear from acompany that has no experience making footwear for your sport?that being said jeter did it and it turned out decent....maybe JB could bite some other brandsdesign modify it a lil n slap a jordan logo on it and sell it for $150 kinna like fusions
....how do you market him tho id imagine it would be hard or near impossible tomake a casual shoe for him that looks his skates.

My first instinct is no but it would be interesting to see JB explore a new rhelm such as hockey but i dont think the market insentive is there for them to doanything like thiss. GOOD THREADD

It would be hard to create a market in hockey with jb. Hockey sticks is most likely the big money makers in that sport and not everyone uses the same curve soyou would have to have several players on a jb team for hockey with different curves for each player to meet the demands for players buying sticks.
