Any info on these Jordan XVI PE (pics inside!)

I stumbled across these on ebay, and to my amazement, realized these could possibly be MJ's Player Exclusives backwhen he was with the wizards.

They are a sz 13.5, are navy blue with wizard gold accents on the bottom and have a white nubuck upper. Unforunately,I don't have the gaiters.

So if anyone could shed some light on these, this would be greatly appreciated!

thanks. and nvm they are not the midnight navys. just saw some other pics
 
These are the midnight navy's, but notice the white upper and the gold accents on the soles as well as the PE label inside the shoes.

The midnight navy's don't have white uppers or gold accents on the bottom.

Does anyone have any info for me? or any hints?
 
The accents look copper not orange. They are for sure Washington Wizard PEs and could very possibly have been made for MJ himself.

Sickstwofive, If you have any desire to sell those ezinbox me. I love the XVI andam willing to shell out some serious cash.
 
I only remember MJ wearing the Ginger XVI during his first season with the Wizards.

Not to say that there wasn't a pair of white based XVI made for MJ.

If anything, I think they're Michael Finley exclusive XVI. I've seen him wear a pair like that during his Dallas Mavericks days. Ray Allen has asimilar pair of those shoes.

Thats exactly what I was tinkin....I've only remembered him playing with the gingers....was Jared Jefferies wearing J's then?...Ifpossible could it be his? But nice find on those, and if those were MJ's how much did you pay for these!?...Cuz at first glance, when I saw them also, Iwas thinking samples
 
Jason Kidd had the same c/w PE, he wears a 14 now, but I best bet he could be a 13.5 -- 9 years ago....

Those are Jason Kidds PE's. They were featured in slam magazine. I'll try to dig that issue out of the pile when I visit my parents this weekend.
 
Mike only wore one pair of XVIs. Not saying that these wasn't made for him because I really wouldn't know. On another note. Navy XVI are so underrated.
 
If these were worn by JKidd, would it be logical to have red accents on the bottom? From my experience, Jordan brand does a good job matching their shoes tothe respective players uniform.

I don't think these were made for Jared Jeffries because he didn't enter the league till the 02-03 season. I still have a suspicion these were made forMJ himself.
