I am a manager at a major shoe retailer, and I am sad to say, but it is official, Jordan brand is dead. (and so is the sneakers in general). Forget the daysof shoes selling out on the release date, now they don't sell period. I have the 12's in my store, and I have been hyping them up, but peopledon't seem interested. The DMP 2's are still sitting on shelves, etc...I think the mix of high prices and fakes having finally become to much for J.Bto overcome.

The XIIs are ugly imo...so i see why people aint rockin with that.(remember IMO lol)
The DMP2 date got changed recently, i know a lot of ppl at my school still thought it was the 30th...MAYBE that had something to do with people not gettingthem, i could be wrong though

packs all sold by me...which isnt saying much but i know the 12's will sell out too im passing on those tho

See, it's the "new" generation collectors that killed it. I am shocked at people thinking the xii's are ugly, especially with the garbage outthere. (supras, chucks, polka dot fawking 1's)....this is why it's dead...youngin's don't appreciate the classics.

When you say the word "fakes" do you mean JB's releases the last few years? (fusions, 6 rings, spizikes, dub zeros, every imaginable color ofjordan 1s and jordan "phat", variant-quality Countdown pack retroes)...we've reached a point where the products that JB is putting out is as badif not worse than the "fakes" or variants...I feel like this whole year has just been testing how bad of a product can they put out where people willstill continue to buy them...

There's a huge demand for Air Jordans and retroes, but they haven't been releasing anything worth buying and have been chasing people away with theirterrible quality and colorways

There you go! It's Brooklyn. Big population... Here at my spot they're sitting on shelves.

no matter how bad JB falls on its ugly face with nelly at the helm with all the pimpled faced sheep, at least there are J's out there that will alwaysrepresent what jordans truely were and will never be disgraced.

OG's, and retros(not including 90% of CDP as retros).......

Funny they didn't here or in Chi-town during my visit today.

Forgot to add that this wasn't as limited as people thought.

Changing release dates, uninformed sales people, limited release bs, poor quality and $310 price tags did the trick.

How many packages did yall get?

We got around 30-40 pairs for each store.

All of them sold in about 30 minutes.

Around that number, but see, these were everywhere here. Every store that usual gets a GR.

I stopped by Indy around noon and every store had them, finishline, footaction, footlocker, and champs. I was like

Went to Chi Town and it looked like packs were still there in pretty much every size.....

Who knows, maybe in a few days they will be all gone though.

we get a new "JB is dead!" thread everyday. Stop whining and act like a grown man and just don't buy it and move on. No sense beating a deadhorse

ok this man is right on about the Bulls Pack

they just need to let go of this whole "pack" idea. It was only good for the DMP 1 and the CDP. There's tons of J's that are yet to beretroed and yet we get this Ragin Bull, 60+ crap.

My money will be on hold till December.

I think that's just your opinion because you're getting too old. When you get to a certain age, it's natural to think that things were better whenyou were younger than they are now. And not just with sneakers but with fashion and music in general. I'm 28 now and don't recall a time when JordanBrand was as big as it is now. Before Jordan Brand could only release a few pairs of sneaker models a year, and now it's like hundreds of sneakers arereleased; retros, special edition packs, melos cp3, team Jordans, the numbered series, and then add to that the clothing. Sure their sell-out image may havebeen tainted with money making schemes and poorly constructed sneakers but the fact still remains that present day Jordan brand is a cash cow. So even if youthink those raging bulls V's won't sell, it won't matter because the next pack/hyped sneaker will.
