I just grabbed Infrareds in a 10, and I'll give them to my mom to give me for Christmas. That way there's at least one thing I won't return.

Besides that, I dont know why you guys are praising these for their quality. Pretty shocked when I received these. Shoes are very stiff and leather is definitely not great. Different opinions I guess, but the leather definitely has the premium feel to it. You have to wear them to appreciate the quality. Theyre very comfortable and the leather gets softer with each wear.

Not something I'd get, but those black/anthracite's don't look half-bad in those pics.
 
I'm really feeling those black/anthracite's, IMHO you can never go wrong with a black based upper and the white midsole/outsole combo.

the black ones are dope, will def be copping and swapping that strap to a black one.
 
Those latest blacks look to have the same sort of semi soft synthetic nubuck type material seen on the air trainer max 91s. Somewhat impressive. Must buy if $80 shipped can be obtained eventually

Yep, I agree. A combo that's always worked for me.
And yeah, the black nubuck looks nice.

Glad I made the purchase, too.  I've worn each pair twice so far. My citron pair seems to be breaking in slightly more; it's got a few more—gasp—creases throughout the leather.  The surprisingly soft leather the QS's have =

Just how many black-based Trainer 2s is Nike releasing?

I guess it may have something to do with the fall/winter weather coming, or a desire to go with safe, less flashy colorways, or all of those.

the black joints are cool but not necessary.

I want to catch a pair of the outlet Citrons just for the strap. Want to use the lighter colored strap on my Infareds.
