I definitely like the black ones not sure if i'll pick them up right away but they look real good

I think I acquired the last 13's in both colorways that Jimmy Jazz had, plus the discount. You can't beat less than $150 including shipping for both pairs, considering just ONE pair of Jordan Retros goes for more than that right now. So now I've tripled up on the QS pairs. And can feel comfortable wearing a pair of each to my heart's content. LOL.
I also was recently able to get 2 pairs of the existing black/silver colorway from Eastbay when they were marked down, with my unused Gold Club 25% on top of that. And I actually like them a lot for wearing to Raiders games. But I'm really liking the newer black/grey/white colorway as well, as I thought I probably would. Especially the fact that they appear to be nubuck (Durabuck?). I hope they sit so I can get them at a markdown too.

Wow, had no idea they had 3M on them. Wish they had it on the tongue, but I really like the look of them anyway. Just ordered a pair for $97.86 shipped, which to me isn't that bad of a price but I'd have liked a bigger discount if I could have found one. If I like them in person as much as I do in the pics, I'll probably double up as long as I can still get them at a discount. If anyone is still looking for the quickstrikes PLNDR.com has the quickstrikes for 89.99 +5.95 shipping, only bad thing is they take WEEKS to ship stuff out, according to the site they won't ship until 1/10/12, but since these look like bad weather would ruin them, most people here would probably keep them on ice until the spring anyway.

I'll be honest. I thought I would be wearing these way more than I have so far. I guess that's what years of waiting does to you. Once you have them, it's almost like you don't even own them. I already have my go to sneakers and the regulars, and these unfortunately are not them.... just yet at least. It feels like I couldn't even own these at all and still be okay. It's a sad feeling.
That discounted price sure is tempting.. I'm trying to go away from hoarding or stockpiling shoes and just start to wear shoes like when we were kids. Buy one or two. Beat those up and then move on. I want WDYWT to showcase everyday beaters. None of these shoes look used. I have waited too long for these to always look perfect (as backwards thinking as that may appear here on NT)/ I'll post up a progress photo in the coming weeks

I thought I'd be wearing these more too. But I already had a regular rotation when these came along and haven't quite worked them in yet. One thing I've always said is that, especially in the case of the QS styles, this is a total summer shoe. Wearing them for the first time evoked images in my mind of hot California days in May, June, and July 1990. Maybe by the end of next spring I'll be wearing mine daily. You might feel differently then too. If I didn't own them, though, I'd probably be kicking myself for not jumping on them when I had the chance.
When I got my last set they ran me less than $150 shipped for both pairs combined, which were already discounted before the discount that I used. You can't beat that price considering $150 is about average for just ONE pair of a lot of the Retros out there today.
