Drake put The Weeknd on with the OVO XO stuff and by performing with him. Around that time The Weeknd was repping OVOXO all the time.

So when The Weeknd was coming out with his Trilogy album Drake was expecting him to drop it on his label, but dude went ahead and dropped it with Republic Records instead. Drake took it as a slight and stopped messing with dude, hence "No new ******, ***** we don’t feel that/ **** a fake friend, where you real friends at
 
Waka was on MTV Rapfix and they asked him about his riff with Gucci and he was so casual about it like it was nothing :smh:

The Weeknd benefited off of Drake's cosigns and gave the impression he was going to sign with Drake's Warner record label, OVO, and Drake felt some type of way when it was announced that he signed with Universal . . . probably not even about him not signing with OVO, it's moreso that he likely didn't tell him, dude had to find out through a blog or press release or whatever

In the Gucci/Waka situation, I'm sure Gucci is just being bipolar
