****OFFICIAL GUCCI MANE & BRICKSQUAD 1017****

Gucci buzz came out of nowhere forreal..my chain, street ******, and hold that thought brought him back and pillz & rain man made him a fan fav again

I copped hard to kill from this mixtape stand at the FL classic in 05-06 when NOBODY was messing with gucci, been jamming it ever since.

Hold that thought >>>>>

That zay bass :x :smokin

Gucci's buzz was at an all-time high in 2009. There's nothing at all that to deny that. Dude was set to become a legit star on the same level as Jeezy (or as Jeezy was, IDK), and he just screwed it all up.

No it didn't because in 2009 he was at his hottest overall (mainstream) with the Mariah Carey song and Wasted, Lemonade, etc.
Falso. You do realize gucci was rapping before 09' right? After Jeezy dropped stay strapped, and the whole incident happend the streets was not messing with gucci I remember it clear as day, I was thinking damn dude gone drop a crazy single (so icey) and now he done. Then he dropped hard to kill if I remember correctly and the buzz just continued from there.
I wasn't talking streets I was talking mainstream . . . He was set up to be on Jeezy's level like Peep said

I agree with Gucci putting everyone on except Zaytoven.
They both benefited from one another and Zay would have been straight with or without Gucci. Vice versa.

I just can't see zay being zay without gucci, who the hell jumps on a zay track like wop? Till this day I don't wanna hear too many ppl other than Gucci & maybe OJ on a zay track, scooter too.

That's kinda my point though. I only want to hear Gucci on Zay's beats. When Gucci steered away from Zay, his music kinda fell off.
They developed a niche sound together. Without Zay, Gucci wouldn't have reached the level of popularity he was at imo.
Same can be said for Zay. They both benefited from each other from the very beginning.

Can't believe there's even a debate on who put Waka on. I remember when he first started appearing in Gucci's videos and on a few songs cats were laughing at him. I don't care how much power his mom has, you can't just make your son hot. You need an artist to put him on.

Oh yeah and **** Gucci and Atlantic for releasing Burrrpint 2 in the store with the DJ still on it. I was ready to buy it that day it came out. I NEEEEEED Boy From the Block and Everybody Lookin without a DJ and CRISP quality.

I don't think you're following...
The initial statement was "Gucci's career would be dead w/o the Jeezy beef" when it's actually the complete opposite, when La Flare dropped "So Icey" in 05' things were looking up but as soon as "Stay Strapped" dropped his mainstream career was virtually non-existent for the next 3 years.
Nobodies debating whether or not he put himself in a bad spot when he kept (and continues) getting locked up post The State vs Radric Davis Release.

I remember there were 3 of that same Gucci Mane freestyle on youtube and all of them had 2+ million views, and this was in 2010, which still amazes me. Flocka was looking like a fiend

Its no debate, these _s just caught up in gossip like some females. Waka is Gucci's son, he named that boy.

The only Gucci freestyle I mess with is Burn One on Chicken Talk. :pimp:
