Has the Air Barrage ever been put on NikeID????

I came across an ad on craigslist from a gentleman who has a pair of DS Air Barrage's in size 12.5. He says they're a 'SAMPLE' and in thepicture, they come in a Nike ID box, complete with the dust bag.

He says he was given these by someone who handles 'promotional items' for the Arizona Cardinals, but is not a Cardinals fan and has no use for them. Heseems to have no knowledge of sneakers whatsoever, he's 51 years old lol. He said he is moving outta town and riding of excess items.

I was a little hesitant to buy them, but I figured since they are going to be a gift, the recepient (my brother in law) won't even care if they'refake, he just wants a replacement pair for the ones he has now. What confused me was them coming in a NikeID box/bag, yet I have no knowledge of them everbeing able to be ID'd online? Can anyone confirm this?

Any help/info on these will be GREATLY appreciated..

These were never on Nike ID. release date was in '96. Players did get samples for this model, if you remember... Almost every player in the NFL Hadthese on the turf. Wouldnt think these are fake (Anything is possible) The Size Tag looks legit. The box and bag could have came from anywhere im sure, if theprice is right... why not?

I'm not really up on Samples, so I wasn't sure if that tag was legit. It looks ok in person?
