The reason I appreciate and love the original Jordans is because MJ did his thing in them! My uncle bought me every new Air Jordan since the 1 (Born in 84)to the XIII and I remember watching MJ in awe every game and trying to imitate what he did.
A lot of these young kids that come into my shop wearing fakes or fusions or hybrid offsprings have never seen an actual MJ game so they have no idea what theoriginal Jordans are or what I'm wearing on that day. It saddens me that Jordan Brand is butchering these OG Jordans and hybriding them with all sorts ofother shoes, its just ugly and disrespectful of the originals that inspired us all to be more like Mike.
Sure the demographic has changed and JB is changing with the times, but they are losing loyal fans left and right by churning out more frankenstiens andinferior quality shoes. They are turning into GM motors with a thousand different models, weak designs, cheap quality, low performance, and horrid colorplacement. They need to re-evaluate and focus on fewer shoes with better design, quality, and performance.
