I think the daughter of the white dea agent was friends/classmates with the J. Cole's "sister" that they shot. At least that's what I got from it.
 
Damn man. Finally watched it...heard it was a total 180 from the song but wow. Awful story that happened RIP to the young lady smh. Got me in a somber mood now especially with what's been happening recently
 
definitely didnt expect that...reading the story on the young girl...doesnt tie to drugs (according to wiki)
 
Like for real... I hate that the masses don't rock with Cole heavy like that but if they did... He would be sitting w rap album of the year right now, unanimously.

Objectively, I don't see anything better than this right now. Drake swung and missed w his joint. MCHG is arguable

Drake gets that mass appeal ESPECIALLY with girls since he makes that pop music for half his material :lol: I can't front though I do rock with some of his songs even the simp anthems...Coles album is a better overall cd than NWTS and MCHG. Really only one fluff song imo, and I like the theme even though it's not a concept album technically. Cole should win AOTY for hip hop but I have a feeling drake or Hov will get it smh.

The one thing I really enjoyed on NWTS (even though many songs sounded similar) was the production from 40, Coles production has improved but I really want him to expand and work with other people on his next project. Having to produce, write all of your own album is a pretty arduous task. Imagine if he could devote even more time to just song writing :wow:. He probably doesn't want to but even if its just half the album done by other people it'd make his end product stand out even more.
 
that's the one thing i'd like to see cole do on his next project, expand out to other producers. i'd be fine with him doing the majority of his tracks, but man if he sprinkled in some just blaze, timbo, no id, & k.r.i.t. production :wow: :pimp:
 
I just wanted to chime in and say I was sleep, after a few months this is clearly the best (Rap) album of the year, joint gets better with time.

Carry on.
 
I was at the concert in Cleveland few weeks ago, and he puts on hell of a show, the whole crowd was very into it!!

Born Sinner was a crazy project, definitely better than Wale's or the Yeezus project.
