Who knows? Maybe Pushing it up will actually help his sales like a few people have said.

I used Ross because that's what he put in his example. I know that sounds funny saying all he's been doing is shouting names on hooks but we both know that's not the case. Take a look at his singles.

I'd just like to see him gain the same type of commercial success as K. Dot.

This is my fear for him. Should have kept Kenny Lofton, Cole Summer and For ODB for the album.

Agreed you can throw Can I Holla At Ya and Head Bussa in the mix. I really hope he doesnt leave quality storytelling and introspective tracks off this album. Its a shame Kanye came through and took all the air out the room from him. Maybe they should have planned the album release to be in spring instead of summer.

16 on the Regular.

A few of those are most-likely skits, because it is confirmed that Jay Pharoah was in the studio working with Cole (Possible Jay impersonations? )

Also, the track Crooked Smile (remember the verse he did a few months back?) will feature TLC, yes Chili from TLC... it is confirmed. However, it is not known if it will be a bonus track on the deluxe or on the actual album.



Also, regarding the charts...
Power Trip is currently #2 in Rhythmic Airplays (Rhythmic radio spins), behind Wale's Bad.
It also just got added to Pop radio stations top 50 songs today, so more stations shall be spinning it.
Urban radios have also picked it up and started spinning the track.

Fact: Power Trip is Top 5 in SONGS (yes, ALL SONGS) that are trending upwards in radio spins and airplays.

Right now it is the #18 song in radio, and most likely it will drop into the Top 20 on Billboards Hot 100...inching closer to Top 15.

Thanks for that info. I wish Cole had just kept the album to 12-14 tracks with no skits. I usually don't like skits unless they are well executed and part of a story or theme the way they were on GKMC. Either way he has my support with a pre-order.

yea the length is def a turn off and killing my anticipation a bit. Maybe because the more number of tracks the more likely will hear album filler.

I am glad someone else feels me on this. May times with albums, less is more yet artists don't realize this.

The Length does worry me, the best albums are usually 15 tracks tops.......however FNL had like 20 tracks, all dope

To be fair, the regular version is only 16. And 2 or 3 of those will probably be skits.
So technically it will only be a 13 song album.

He's giving us 5 bonus tracks on the deluxe, which im not complaining about

^Im with you. I believe we are technically looking at 12-13 tracks... He prolly has an interlude on there as well as multiple skits. It was stated that he recorded a few skits with a choir in addition to the tracks that he used them on.

We also have to consider that the iTunes deluxe version may have more tracks than the in store deluxe. Could be a 2-3 track difference right? And even if it is 21 tracks, the bonus will prolly be a separate disc I imagine

Won't embed, but thats his performance of Power Trip on Jimmy Fallon last night.
