It's not though.
I hate when ppl wait years until it's long enough to sweep an album across the line to classic status. It takes time to determine if an album is a classic but there's usually a big initial impact.

Cool kid bad management.. Jay dropped the ball wit this kid.. To many projects at one time 2 years until a studio album was finish.. He could have been legendary if not under jay's wing.. GREATs make MISTAKEs and Jay not letting someone else take this kid where he needed to be was a screw up.. If i mean RI already has a track out with Jay on it.. he had to wait until the last minute.. Something went wrong..

Dude put out one album and it has been a success and is a damn good debut....people seriously need to relax. Let his career breathe before you start making ridiculous assumptions and projections about where he should be.
He has been out 2 years.. Blueprint III dropped and he was already signed to ROC makes no sense that it took this long to get this artist developed.. Its not like he had a mix tape that could have been pushed as an album.. He had some fairly decent mix tapes.. then nothing.. crickets crickets.. then an album. Cole is cool but i really think in MY OPINION he could have been better under a more independent label.. This coming from a DIE HARD jay-z fan..
