Album ain't dropping Jan. There is no hype and no solid single.

Has Cole officially called Born Sinner an album? Perhaps a mixtape because there is NO hype for this.

Yea he has officially called it Born Sinner and he also admitted that it prolly won't drop in Jan. but that was just a date thrown out there

What albums as of late have really had hype tho?...outside of Kendrick i dont think that many have had hype... that have been released recently

Wiz, Game, Big Boi all just dropped and didnt have mad hype to me.

Didn't even know Wiz's album was coming out and Game basically built up hype by leaking it then everybody was like "damn this is good" :lol:
 
I feel like J. Cole's hype is him not dropping stuff so often so when he does his fans go crazy. That little trailer for Born Sinner was nothing special but people went nuts for it, all he needs to do is put out a single that radio will actually play (no way Miss America is getting spins :lol:) and he should be ok.
 
If the world ends tomorrow, damn. I would be mad as **** for 2 reasons. First, I’m not with my family. That would suck.
What would also be wack is if I never got to drop this song.

Summer of 08′. Mark Pitts meeting had happened a month ago. He said he ***** with me, but he not talking about signing me. Ok. **** that. I’ma make my new **** so stupid that the next time he meet with me he gonna HAVE to sign me. Same summer I made Grown Simba and started The Warm Up with a “**** it” mentality. A few special songs I made that summer haven’t dropped yet. This is one of them.

seems like a new j.cole track is releasing every week, whether it's his or as a featured artist ever since that ustream vid.
 
Damn 08' tho.. That's a while back. He needs to flow like this again, or at least incorporate his wordplay with this flow.
