Born Sinner is a great album.

The joint with James Fauntleroy :pimp: :pimp:

Trouble :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

Villuminati :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

Obviously Power Trip, Crooked Smile :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

Chaining Day is dope too.

They could have kept that Forbidden Fruit record though. How can J. Cole and Kendrick produce that :x

Would have loved to see a few leaks on the album like "Cousins" and "Can I holla at ya"

Overall, I think this joint is an 8/10. Sucks that he won't win a Grammy off of it though. IMO GKMC is better than this, and NWTS will probably end up being the AOTY.

album is solid, but **** i knew i shouldnt have had high expecations :smh:

How I'm currently feeling, and I'm a huge Cole fan....

Few of the Truly Yours Tracks on this would have been :pimp: instead of some other tracks, and I'm still not done my first listen.

Like Gone in 60 said.... It's cool just not what I expected

None of the download links are working for me

I'm getting my deluxe copy with Truly Yours 3. Guess It wasn't meant to be, so I shall wait until the June 18th. I really hope it meets my expectations, a new form of art, with lyrical visuals. I'm so faded, I was so ready for this. I just couldn't get my Tony Montana in check, to skip class and head to listening session in New York. I had my beats and I had

but noooo, I just couldn't do it.

Just like Sideline Story, I can already tell this album will have little replay value for me.

In a week's time Kevin Gates will be bangin thru my speakers again. Solid effort from Cole though.

Love it on first spin, will run it through again tomorrow in the whip with two 10's :D

VERY boring album. Let Nas Down, Trouble, N's Know and She Knows are the only track that stands out so far. First spin and seems like replay value is already out the window. Production is super average.

I just listened to Forbidden Fruit and Let Nas Down. I couldn't help but notice Cole borrowed a couple of lines.

"What you eat don't make me ****zz" and "No I.D. my mentor now let the story begin". The first one off Heart of The City by Jay and the second off Kanye's Big Brother.

Any who, album just finished downloading, brb when I'm done listening!

are you surprised? cole always "borrows" lines from ye and jay...

Been a fan of homie since 09...but this **** is boring as hell.  I'm starting to think dude peaked at Friday Night Lights

This album was very dope off my first listen

Didn't disappoint at all..

Listening to an album with specific expectations or presumptions rarely end well...

Crazy because all I've been hearing for the past year or so is how Cole's production has improved.

Will give it a listen today.

Who else feels the same about the production?

NT says album is trash and boring = the album is probably one of the best of the year.... But most will wait until someone else says it before changing their opinion

*Raises hand*

Production is a step back (IMO). Beats are really simplistic.

My problem w/ it is he didn't come w/ anything new, it's like I've heard all these songs before (from him).

Also he name drops Jay so much on this album, you'd think he was his son. The name dropping on this album is Game(esq) & that's pretty annoying.

Nobody's gonna call this rap AOTY & I'm gonna go out on a limb & say Wale's joint will be BETTER than this & Ye's joint is gonna be epic!!!
