Cole's body of work has done nothing but improve. Plus a lot of it has ton's of replay value too. I'm happy as a consumer/fan. Respect.

That song about the Ferguson fiasco was real dope btw. I feel like he has the green light creatively from J to drop whatever he wants.

Heard awhile back he had a album coming out this year, didn't know it'd actually materialize.

J.Cole needs better producers to me. Those beats on  Logic "Under Pressure" Album would've been perfect for him. Like buddy said: He's great on soulful type beats...
 
^i agree, Cole is my favorite rapper but his unwillingness to work with other producers is sometimes very frustrating.

His want to do it all on his own is probably why he's successful, but at the same time with some better outside production he could take his career to the next level.

He needs to stop being stubborn. Let someone like Just Blaze hook you up with some dope soulful beats and just focus on the bars.
 
Maybe he feel a little bit more comfortable on his beats but I'm excited about this idk if it's true or not but he hasn't even said anything about his album dropping this month whatsoever .

i could go for some new cole material... almost forgot how long ago born sinner actually dropped :lol:

im hoping he adds a couple more producers to the lineup as well... i enjoy his production, but i always felt bringing in producers like just blaze or timbo for example could really do his music wonders.

Doubt it's an album, prolly some free music he is going to release soon. Something similar to the Truly Yours and Any Given Sunday releases
