Nothing about this is that great. I respect his rapping ability but as a song, its not that strong. This is a great album filler but NOT a worthy single. Good luck to him on gaining fans though, he'll need it.
I'm glad Cole is staying true to him and not selling out like his light skinned counter part.
He said it best;
"Look all he wanted was a deal so when he got it he just faded
But tell me whats a deal when you want to be the greatest?"
I'm pretty sure Cole isn't stupid, and neither is the team that is backing him so he will most likely drop another "radio friendly" single before his album drops.

this song aint a big song. dont hype this joint up. Good mixtape song but not as a 1st single. Pretty Sure itll be a street single, if even that.

Who cares...the bottom line is that it is a good song.
Why does everything in the music forum have to be related to how big a song will be or how much an artist will blow up?! SMH....just judge and enjoy the good music.

Truth in both of these...but I think we make a big deal about it cuz if we are fans of the artist(J.Cole) we wanna see dude succeed...or if we just a fan of rap in general we want to see it succeed by having our best quality of music heard by the masses
its just like players in the NBA....cant hype up ya fav player if every broadcasted game he doing 16 n 5 but the allstars doing 25 n 10
its a good song but its no different than all the unreleased songs that hit the blogs by him...they puttin out artwork n issh like this is where its at

The way it sound i woulda prolly thought it was a unreleased joint from back in the day before he got his deal. Itll get like 2 or 3 plays from me then never again. Its just Aight.

IMO, I think this song will help him be known. One thing that should be done, if they haven't already, is make a radio-friendlier version of the song, cause all the mutes would take away from the song. Like half of it

Im at work so I cant embed or do youtube...but i watched this new J.Cole interview on my cell n he touches on the album...
he says no production from kanye is on the album but he has been in with jim jonsin n others....also said he hasnt been in the studio with Jay yet
dude said he shooting for a summer release depending on how well the single goes....i doubt that will happen personally
