^ Good post. I will keep saying this that I like dudes strategy and the fact that he actually gets it and wants to make a great album with some creativity and not just slap a bunch of songs with random features together.

Also the BET Rising Icons video was great so props to IKnowRap for posting. It gave great insight on Cole and the steps he is taking towards producing the album but also is one of the best produced videos I have seen on BET (which I pretty much never watch) in years.
 
I think Cole is definitely gonna deliver a classic. Dude is a student of the game and a fan of the same stuff that we all consider classics, and has made it clear that he's trying to make an album that will feel the same. I honestly feel like rappers can tell if their first album is classic, but they usually just don't care they are more worried about their singles. He won't drop this thing unless it is straight up CLASSIC...

was only kind of a fan before but once i heard blow up and wont be long ive been hooked now, dude is hands down one of the best rookies doing it now, from the songs ive heard off the album im getting that college dropout feel, the instrumentals matched with the lyrics are having me feel that vibe.

i'll def. be there if this is true. Isn't this event usually free?

Edit: Ok so I just looked this up and it is a closed event for UCR students only. Each UCR student is allowed to bring in one guess though.
 
J. Cole is gonna be at Bumbershoot in Seattle on Monday the 6th. He has a 1 hour time slot so i'm excited to see what he's gonna do with it. He's right before Drake and maybe they can find time to collab in the studio haha

I was surprised when I heard the lineup for the Block party. J. Cole is the truth.. One of my Favorite rappers

Your info isnt all the way correct homie. The show is only free with a UCR id, and your allowed to bring 1 person for free with the id. Im a UCR student btw..
