Definitely don't let that stop you my man. Not as well polished and couldn't be an album like The Warm Up, but it's still insane. Subject matter is way more raw and you can tell he was further from making it. With that being said his lyricism is still ******ed and it's pretty crazy to here him spit some more violent rhymes. Also got some of his best emotional songs like Can't Cry and some epic $$## like Carolina On My Mind. You'd be missing out if you didn't check it...

I wanna put this out there before the release of Friday Night Lights because I want to eat my words after I give the mixtape a solid run through
Dont get me wrong, his production is not bad and it doesnt sound like alot of stuff out right now which is good...but I just dont think it is polished or noteworthy overall just yet...certainly no where near the level to carry the weight of a debut studio album, major release
His Beats=High School Varsity....college level at best

His Raps=College....All American, lottery pick at best

I wanna see PROFESSIONAL(is it to soon to ask for?), preferably in the BEATS, his Raps are usually all good/better than most but he has to recognize he is becoming repetitive and thats bad for a young MC

With that said I hope he shows and proves with this mixtape

I'm pumped for this.  Especially after hearing that verse on Lookin For Trouble

just nasty

going by this 'assessment' 99% of rappers in the game must be NT bball summit level.

His production has had flashes of greatness The Blow Up, Grown Simba, Who Dat, and maybe a few more.

^Damn right he has had FLASHES of greatness...but overall I cant say a beat he has made has just wowed me but "Premeditated Murder" and "It Wont Be Long" is probably his dopest production post Warm Up....lows or mehhs...mostly erything else give or take a couple

LOL at NT Summit level...nahh, its clear level of vets, pro's, college, juco etc in the rap game right now

personally judgin Cole off the combination of beats x flow x lyrics = all american college... basically a household name ONLY if you keep up w it, but haven't necessary seen a full game

I'm wondering this, too. Did he just drop a few assorted tracks after warm up?
