[:: J. COLE THREAD | DREAMVILLE's ROTD3 ALBUM OUT NOW!! ::]

EXCELLENT MIXTAPE, didnt dissapoint. only gripe is the beats were a little less from what i expected.

Loved all the tracks, from the new ones that werent leaked i think Farewell was on of my fav from the tape.

Also i agree with homie who said that Higher could be on the radio, its one of my fav J.Cole songs of all his work.

Satellite radio been player Higher so much to the point I thought it was a single. It was getting more burn than Blow Up. IMO, Higher has been the most radio friendly song i've heard from J. Cole.

Whatever it is, J. Cole just has it. He can't make a bad song. (Knock on Wood. No pun intended on that either) My opinion at least, I haven't heard one bad track from him since the come up, and even that is a stretch.

He is the best rapper doing it right now, and if you don't think so....I have no idea why you wouldn't, he is seriously on another level. These joints DIDNT MAKE THE ALBUM, like...what the hell, we as fans already know the album is going to be a classic then.

The concepts, stories, and construction are very good but the beats would be my only complaint.

Can't say this is flat out better than The Warm Up. Fav joints are Too Deep For The Intro, Villematic, Before I'm Gone, In The Morning, The Autograph, and Higher. Really like all the joints though. Nothing weak on it.
I've been agreeing with you on just about everything lately. Seriously, couldn't have said it better.

pretty terrible sound on here, but i'll throw it in here anyway.  Freestyle on Star is Born and then Star is Born

Thats all that matters.

Basically.  Cole picked the absolute perfect time to drop a mixtape. A week  right after that

He's NICE...but how nice is he?

VERY

if he put out lackluster music, you could ask this. but he rarely puts out songs that i dont like. And what has being on RocNation done cept cause you to give it that first listen?

and the songs on the Warm up were made before he signed...u like those right? exactly.

I really only checked out the Warm Up because he was signed to Roc Nation. You'd be lying to think that the Jay-Z cosign didnt force you to look deeper into what he was offering and accept it more.
