I can't knock your post when you stated its your opinion, but regardless of how weak the songs may be, you gotta at least admit this is a very good idea for promo.

I like the songs but a lot of rappers do and have been doing something like this as far as promo. I'd really prefer if they were all new songs. Unabomber isn't so dope that he had to bring it back for new fans. Don't know why he even brought up anything about the 2nd album anymore. I guess he's not willing to release some songs from the vault yet since some "shh out of his control" allowed him to drop Like A Star. Thing is with how his whole album situation has been going dating back to last year I think he should focus on this album and go in with the promo and give new songs if he's taking this approach since there isn't a mixtape anymore.

Gave in and listened to Can't Get Enough. I like this better than Workout. The video would be nice if they shot this on some exotic island or something to that effect. If only Jay and Dame were cool. Throw Dame in the video wildin out pouring champagne on chicks sort of like Big Pimpin.

I've been a new fan of other artists. Aint hard to google search an artist's catalog or look it up on wikipedia.

As for the second statement, you making it sound like he actually made those songs in one day as opposed to uploading them on the internet.

Word!! He has definitely got to also touch the fans that have not heard all of his music.  You just can't look at it from the perspective as a fan who has heard all of his music.

Yeah I always have wondered how others have felt about this as well. I have heard the argument from a friend of mine that a video can sometimes help him like a song more but that has never worked for me ever.  I honestly can care less about videos nowadays nor do I ever really check for them because most are not that creative and rather repetitive in my opinion. I personally do not think videos help sell records especially in today's music sales climate.

I honestly don't think music vids help all that much either... As long as a track gets play on the radio, I don't think it really matters if there's a music video for it or not.

At the same time, 15 mill + views on youtube for a new music vid make me reconsider
