Cole is the definition of a homie living a dream. Its almost like he doesn't realize he is famous. Kinda like they plucked him out of his midterm and said dude you are now famous.

like the dude is really one of us...2 years ago he was in the same position as alot of us.Thats y i root for him
but at the same time I kinda understand the criticism & ppl not giving a fugg about that and wanting to see somebody thats living n doing things that they can only imagine. Alot of ppl, especially younger ppl live vicariously through a rappers music...so i guess it is what it is.
if he had the same buzz as Drake or Wiz (I wont say big sean cuz I truthfully think he is bigger than him even tho it may not translate in sales) then I wouldnt be looking forward to his album. I just would like a great RAP album..sumtin all his peers that are "ahead" of him in "buzz" couldnt deliver on for a multitude of reasons but it is what it is...

Cole can't do anything without being compared to another artist. He has decent single without an R&B singer making the whole song. Let that man live. And wait to see his first week sales before you compare buzz.

^^^Why would I need to see first first week sales to compare his buzz? Buzz is what you are supposed to have BEFORE your album is released.
And the fact is, out of all the new artists to come out who have actually released official albums, J.Cole has the least amount of buzz. Wiz had
legit hit singles, Drake had legit hits, and Big Sean had a true hit. "Who Dat" flopped awhile back, and this song actually came out awhile ago,
with the video just now premiering. I'm not knocking his talent or anything, he's just not catching on in the mainstream like the other artists are.

I think alot of the reason why he's not catching the mainstream fans is because he's not doing alot of songs with other mainstream artist. This could be a giant Win or a Loss depending on how his album is.

True but a top 30 record with 15,000,000 youtube views isn't bad. I don't see Cole getting nowhere close to that....
