I dig this even tho he gave us those verses already. Creating "Workout" (which was always good to me) doesn't seem that out of character for Cole after hearing "2012".

Forreal though, he said it would be out shortly after the album lol. And what happened to that song "wet dreams" that he mentioned would be on the album back in like '10?

J. Cole Announces "Born Sinner" Delay

J. Cole has announced the delay of his sophomore album Born Sinner, originally slated for release on January 28th.

While on the red carpet for his New Year's Eve performance at Las Vegas, Nevada's Tao, the Roc Nation rapper revealed to PopStopTV that the album won't make the deadline and that fans can expect it later in the year.

"Nah, it's not going to make January 28th. It's going to be a little later than that. I needed more time to get it done," he said. "I don't even know what [fans are] going to feel. I hope they're going to love it, but I don't know if it's going to be the production or the stories."

I don't mind waiting for a quality album.

Too many times these days artists rush their album out to make fans happy...then ironically fans are unhappy because the quality of the work seems rushed.

So you're better off taking your time and doing it all right.

Miss America is still being listened to. Its obviously not a great '1st single' buzz/sales wise...but i certainly enjoyed it. Great song.

Its gonna be a Cole Year in 2013 :smokin
 
Saw this coming. Really don't care how long we have to wait because I know it will be a quality album. As long as it drops before summers over :lol:

I agree with everything you are saying. I just wonder if Cole's album was not ready or the label just didn't like the "buzz" from Miss America. Sometimes I hate that label feel that every first single has to have a great buzz in order to release a project.

At the end of the day I just want a quality project and I am sure Cole will put that out.
